  1. Open Interview is Indian’s first crowdsourced blog featuring interview transcripts of experts and it’s completely a not-for-profit initiative. The interviewees, interviewer, editor and volunteers are not paid.
  2. Open Interview may accept any support in any form, not necessarily in monetary sense,  for the maintenance of the blog and the same will be acknowledged online. 
  3. Open Interview is purely meant for sharing questions and answers in the form of interview document (as blog post) conducted with the experts belonging to education, art and socio-cultural domains.
  4. The aim of the interviews is to capture the tacit knowledge the experts have  and document it in the form of interview posts on this blog. Thus, Open Interview provides a platform to: understand the ideas and expertise of the interviewee; create awareness about a particular issue/s; know the different dimensions of the issue/s; and help researchers for further study/ research or discussions on the issues discussed in the interviews.
  5. The interview literature, posted on this blog, is accessible free of charge and free of most copyright and licensing restrictions. Therefore, Open Interview uses CC-BY, a complete liberal license of one of the Creative Commons licenses. This license lets any individual or organization distribute, remix, tweak, and build upon the blog posts, even commercially, as long as he/she/they credit Open Interview for the original creation.
  6. All answers/opinions shared by the interviewees are of their own. Open Interview or interviewer or Editor is not responsible and liable for discrepancy, if any. Their answers/opinions may not reflect the opinions of their/any organizations.
  7. All questions raised in the interviews by the interviewer/s is/are of his/her/their own. Open Interview or Editor is not responsible and liable for discrepancy, if any. Interviewer’s question/s do not reflect the opinions of their/any organizations.
  8. The interviewee may or may not answer questions posted in response to the blog posts (in the comment boxes).
  9. You may find some questions that may lack sub-questions or supporting or probing questions. It is possibly due to paucity of time or interviewer’s focus on other pertinent questions or the interviewee was not prepared to answer or take up the questions.
  10. Open Interview emphasizes on conducting exclusive and exhaustive interviews. However, you may find a few brief interviews because of the problem/s stated in the above point (9).
  11. Open Interview is particular about the correctness of the facts/data presented in the interview literature/posts. But there may be omissions, errors or mistakes, that can be brought to the notice of the Editor for taking necessary action.
  12. Open Interview does not honour the direct or indirect request by any person to interview him/her.
  13. Open Interview does not endorse or advertise any brand/ product/ person/ institution.
  14. Defamatory tone or language or comments that could be considered harmful to the reputation of the interviewee or interviewer or followers/readers is strictly prohibited. Comment meant to abuse or troll anyone will be immediately disapproved/removed and the user will be blocked.
